Where To Stay: Unpack Your Suitcase Here

There are LOTS of accommodation options when visiting Greenwich. Two of my favourites are the Mercure London Greenwich hotel and Staycity Aparthotels. We had quite a lot of family traveling to London from across the UK for our wedding last December, many of whom decided to stay at the Mercure London Greenwich. They were so impressed with the rooms and the service. Tucked away from the main streets, the hotel is quiet, contemporary, elegant and only a 10 minute walk from central Greenwich.

Another option is Staycity Aparthotels on Greenwich High Road. Brilliant for those staying in Greenwich for more than a few days, or those not wanting to eat out at every meal, the Aparthotels offers modern and comfortable rooms, complete with kitchenettes. With a Tesco, Sainsbury's and M&S all within walking distance, it's a great choice for self-catering. Hotel Tip: As several of the rooms are built above Greenwich Pure Gym, I'd recommend asking for a room away from the gym and the lift for a quieter stay.
