It's July 1st! Happy Canada Day!!!

I was born in Cardiff, Wales. When I was eight, my family and I emigrated from Wales to Alberta, Canada. It's where I grew up, went to school and lived until I was twenty-two.

Canada is a vast and breathtaking country, from its oceans on the East & West Coast, the Rocky Mountains slicing through British Columbia and Alberta, the expansive Prairies in the centre and the wild and frozen North. It's a nation of environmental extremes and contrasts, with some of the most welcoming people you will ever meet!

Cliché though it may sound (yeah, yeah, cue the groans ;D), there's nothing I miss more than a Second Cup hot chocolate, a Tim Horton's donut and a stack of Canadian pancakes drizzled in Maple Syrup! Oh, and the Rocky Mountains. There's no place more beautiful, timeless or towering.

With regular flights flying from London's major airports, visiting Canada is now easier than ever! Click on the links below for routes and flight prices. Travel Tip: If you are able to travel outside of the most popular summer months of late June to the end of August, you'll be able to grab a great deal on flights!

For those Canadians in London feeling a little homesick, a stop off at The Maple Leaf Pub on Maiden Lane in Covent Garden is a must! Fill up on wings, poutine and a bottle of Sleeman's/Moosehead/Molson :)

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
